Mike has spent nearly half a century in north Texas, telling the stories of our lives. He is an award-winning journalist, one of the most recognized voices and television faces in Texas. The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences inducted Mike into the Silver Circle for Life-time achievement, after 30 years of anchoring NBC-5 News and traveling the world as chief correspondent covering many of our generation’s major news stories. A voice and screen actor, his narrations are heard across the nation. Mike has spent nearly five decades in North Texas dedicated to philanthropy and community service, deeply involved with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Salvation Army Angel Tree, Junior Achievement, is President of one of the largest Lions Clubs in Texas, and chaired the Airpower Foundation Sky Ball for 13 years, raising millions of dollars for families of deployed troops. Mike and his wife Lyn live in Fort Worth.
