Mimir Emerging Artists

The Mimir Chamber Music Festival was founded in 1998 at the TCU School of Music. Its dual mission is to provide public performances for Fort Worth audiences of the highest artistic level and to offer an educational opportunity for young aspiring musicians of an equally high level.

Mimir's Emerging Artists Quartet Residency is now accepting applications from pre-formed groups for the opportunity to receive intensive coaching with Mimir faculty and to present two full-length performances during the festival. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, tuition and housing will be underwritten.

Quartets and Piano Trios should provide all information indicated on the application page by February 15, 2017. Candidates will be emailed notification of the outcome of their application on or before March 1, 2017.
