Sujie Kim

Sujie started her musical journey at six years of age with Jiwon Kim and successfully completed her Licentiate in Music, Australia, by the age of fifteen. She has performed and worked with various artists including the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra, Richard Tognetti (Australian Chamber Orchestra), Dale Barltrop (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra), Susie Park (Australian World Orchestra), and members of the Australian String Quartet. She has also been a part of the Australian Youth Orchestra, Melbourne Youth Orchestra, and the University of Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Sujie is currently studying with Dr. Curt Thompson in her second year of the Bachelor of Music Performance degree at Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Sujie was chosen for a Victorian Certificate of Education Season of Excellence Top Class award as one of the state's outstanding students in 2021. During this concert, she was named the winner of the VCAA Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarship. Her past teachers include William Henessey, Fintan Murphy, and Julian Quirit.
