Maynie Bradley

Maynie is a sophomore at University of Wisconsin - Madison, studying violin performance with David Perry of the Pro Arte Quartet on a full tuition scholarship. She has also studied with Eugene Purdue.

Maynie has been an avid chamber musician since her high school days. A highlight of hers was playing the first violin for the Mendelssohn Octet in a full Overture Hall in Madison for the 50th anniversary celebration of her youth orchestra. She has attended the Northern Lights Summer Chamber Music Institute in Minnesota and the Vienna Summer Music Festival.

Maynie was a Mimir Emerging Artist in 2018, and will be a Garth Newel Emerging Artist Fellow this summer. She was concertmaster for a University Symphony concert last year and for the musical production of “Into the Woods” this year. She has also had the opportunity to be a soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
