Maynie Bradley

Maynie Bradley started her violin studies at age three with the Suzuki Strings of Madison, and later studied with Eugene Purdue from ages twelve to eighteen.

She is now a freshman at University of Wisconsin - Madison, studying violin performance with David Perry of the Pro Arte Quartet. Maynie is an avid chamber musician and has played chamber music on Wisconsin Public Radio many times as part of the chamber music program of Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra (WYSO). A big highlight was a performance of the Mendelssohn Octet in a full Overture Hall in Madison for WYSO’s 50th anniversary celebration.

Maynie has attended the Northern Lights Summer Chamber Music Institute in Minnesota for the past two years, and has also had the opportunity to be a soloist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and with the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.
