Ji Tong Long

Jin Tong Long is currently a student at the University of Melbourne where she is studying viola. She started on the violin before discovering her love for the viola in primary school.

She is a recipient of the Corinna D'Hage Mayer String Scholarship and the Brunner Music Scholarship for Excellence and has participated in the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and Mimir Chamber Music Festival. Jin has played in various ensembles through organisations such as the Australian Youth Orchestra and Melbourne Youth Orchestras. Through these she has worked with numerous renowned conductors including Richard Gill AO, Elim Chan and Richard Davis. She is currently a member of the Invictus Quartet, who were the 2017 winner of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music Chamber Music Competition and the recipient of the 3MBS The Talent Series Audience Prize. They were also participants in the 2018 International Mozart Competition in Salzburg, Austria.
