Felix Pascoe

Felix PascoeBeginning Violin at age 6, Felix studied the instrument through all his schooling, completing his AMEB studies under the guidance of John Quaine. Felix has travelled with orchestras, touring as concertmaster to countries including France and Belgium and most recently touring to New Zealand with the Melbourne Youth Orchestra and collaborating with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Benjamin Northey. Felix attended the Australian Youth Orchestra National Music Camp in early 2017. Shortly after being accepted into the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, Felix was awarded the Eliezer Benedykt Memorial Scholarship for excellency in Violin Performance. Felix is also a recipient of the CD Hume Violin Scholarship, W Bardsley Award and the Corrina D’Hage Mayer String Scholarship. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Music mentored by Markiyan Melnychenko. In 2017 Felix began learning and playing the viola with The Banksia Quartet. He has enjoyed transferring skills learnt on the violin to the viola, which he intends to pursue into the future.
