Curve Quartet

Newly-Formed in March 2016 under the tutelage of Dr Curt Thompson, the Curve Quartet of Melbourne, Australia, is made up of four talented young artists all currently studying at the University of Melbourne’s Conservatorium of Music – violinists Arna Morton & Daniel Tagiev, violist Michael Webb, and cellist Lauren Jennings.

Arna, Lauren, and Michael have all featured previously as Emerging Artists in the Melbourne version of the Mimir Chamber Music Festival and found the experience to be extremely valuable to their professional development.

In the relatively brief time spent working together, Curve has delighted in cultivating both a dynamic and sensitive approach to their interpretations and are thoroughly looking forward to their many public performances to come.
