Marrianne Liu, Violin

Marrianne is currently studying at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music with Roy Theaker. She has played in the MCM Symphony Orchestra, the string orchestra, and various chamber music groups including piano trio and string quartet. Marrianne has also given recitals for the Austral Salon and the University of Melbourne. She has performed chamber music on 3MBS FM multiple times. She was awarded the Vanata Scholarship from Sydney Music Conservatorium in 2011. In 2014, she took part in the Mimir Chamber Festiva and her quartet performed Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Precitals. Her quartet also reached the finals of the Musica Viva Chamber Award. In the future, Marrianne hopes to pursue a career as a chamber musician.
