Formed by graduates of the Toho Gakuen School of Music, the Mari String Quartet performs throughout Tokyo and the surrounding regions. They have studied with Ralph Fielding and Ko Iwasaki.

The Mari String Quartet is the featured ensemble of the Oiso Arts Festival 2014. Held in Oiso, Japan, their performance for this festival provide financial assistance to the people of Fukushima, Japan, who continue to recover after the disastrous 2011 Tohoku earthquake.
