Hina Fukuda, Violin

Hina is 21 years old, and is currently studying at the University of Melbourne. She underwent two years in Bachelor of Science before transferring to a full time Bachelor of Music at the University of Melbourne. She has previously studied with Miwako Abe and now studies with Dr Curt Thompson, the current Head of Strings at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

She has played with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic and has been Concertmaster of the Kooyong Chamber Orchestra. She was also an active participant in the Music Society of Victoria concerts. In her early years of high school, she received a full music scholarship to Camberwell Girls Grammar and she was also a frequent sectional winner of the annual Dandenong Music Competition.

Hina is an active chamber and orchestral musician, both within the University and in various other ensembles.
